About the Role
Müller's Solutions is seeking a Core Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on process advisory, system optimization, and escalation support within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive insurance knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for core insurance processes, including policy administration, underwriting, claims handling, and risk assessment.
- Provide expert advice on process improvements to ensure insurance operations adhere to industry best practices.
- Offer strategic input for system optimizations, ensuring core insurance platforms are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead advisory sessions with business stakeholders to identify operational gaps and opportunities for system enhancements.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex insurance system challenges, providing subject matter expertise for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to facilitate the implementation of changes and ensure smooth system transitions.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to equip teams with understanding of new processes and system functionalities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience within the insurance industry, with a strong focus on core insurance systems and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing insurance platforms and providing system advisory services.
- In-depth understanding of policy lifecycle, claims management, underwriting workflows, and risk assessment processes.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex issues and drive effective resolutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between business and technical teams.
- Experience with insurance system implementations and handling escalations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional insurance certifications (*, CPCU, ACII).
- Experience with digital insurance transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Skadina or other insurance technology platforms.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires a candidate with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
