About the Role
PJT Partners is seeking a Corporate Compliance professional to join its team in Riyadh. This is a new, stand-alone position reporting to the Head of Compliance for the Middle East, offering an opportunity for a self-driven individual to work independently while contributing to the global Legal & Compliance team. PJT Partners is a global advisory-focused investment bank providing strategic advisory, shareholder advisory, restructuring and special situations, and private fund advisory and placement services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure policies and procedures governing PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) activities are current and align with local regulatory expectations.
- Advise the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring teams in Saudi Arabia on execution activities and provide independent oversight of personnel conducting activities on behalf of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia).
- Facilitate regulatory interactions and reporting with the Capital Market Authority (“CMA”) and other relevant governmental bodies.
- Monitor licensing and registration requirements for PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) personnel.
- Track, assess, and advise the firm on regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia.
- Provide local support for the Finance and Operations functions in the region.
- Connect the Saudi team with colleagues in London and New York to foster collaboration and consistency across regional and global operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a compliance professional, gained at a financial services firm, consultancy, or regulator.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong knowledge of the rules and procedures of the CMA.
- Familiarity with M&A, capital markets, and fund marketing services.
- Fluent in Arabic with strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory matters and challenge constructively.
- Proven ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with global Legal & Compliance and broader Corporate teams.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated risk and control awareness, with the ability to identify and escalate issues promptly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
