About the Cyber Security Manager Role

Role Overview

The Cyber Security Manager will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Arib’s comprehensive cybersecurity strategy. This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh and is responsible for safeguarding the company's applications, networks, and data assets. The role requires a proactive approach to security operations and a commitment to embedding security best practices across all business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations and manage threat detection and incident response processes.
• Conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards, including those set by SAMA and other local authorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate security principles into the design and development lifecycle.
• Define, implement, and enforce robust security policies and procedures.
• Guide secure development and deployment practices across the organization.
• Manage security tools, technologies, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
• Prepare and present security reports to leadership.
• Drive the implementation of remediation plans for identified security risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and information security, encompassing security governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in application security, including secure software development practices, code review, and application penetration testing.
• Proficiency in network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation, and secure network architecture design.
• Proven experience with vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, and remediation planning in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Experience in incident detection and response, including root-cause analysis, containment, and post-incident reviews.
• Familiarity with financial services or fintech environments is advantageous.
• Experience with SAMA or similar regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
