Role Overview: Data Engineer & Architect

Aplos Data is seeking Data Engineers and Architects to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale data and AI solutions to address operational challenges for leading organizations. Candidates with 2-5 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Depending on experience, the role may focus on hands-on engineering and delivery or encompass broader architectural and technical leadership across complex programs. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with customers to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions, taking ownership from design through to deployment and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and backend services.
• Design and engineer production-ready solutions utilizing Palantir Foundry and AIP.
• Develop enterprise-scale data and AI architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Work directly with customers to define requirements, technical approaches, and delivery plans.
• Oversee delivery across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational adoption.
• Establish technical standards, patterns, guardrails, and best practices.
• Create reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable technical assets.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers through design reviews and complex technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve challenging technical issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve engineering standards.
• Support pre-sales activities by shaping technical approaches for new opportunities.
• Mentor and develop teammates while elevating technical standards across the business.
