About the Role
Luxoft is seeking a Data Migration Business Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal within a major project to implement a new Murex system at a leading bank. The successful candidate will take a functional lead role to ensure the success of data migration and the effective utilization of the Murex platform.
Role Responsibilities
The incumbent will develop MXML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange, demonstrating a strong understanding of Murex and MxML workflows, including trades, contracts, and exchanges. Extensive experience in Murex workflow development will be applied to cover the entire trade lifecycle, create system interface workflows, generate confirmations, manage errors, and handle Out-of-System Processing (OSP). Enhancements to existing solutions will also be proposed and implemented based on analytical and technical expertise.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Significant Murex experience, with 7 to 10 years of overall experience.
- At least 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in data migration projects.
- Proficiency in Murex , including the use of XML/XST, data dictionaries, and templates.
- Experience in developing MXML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange.
- Technical proficiency in creating Message Queues (MQ) and writing Shell scripts in a UNIX environment.
- Experience in managing complex migration projects.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly for workflow development.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration between technical and business teams.
- Ability to adapt to diverse trading interfaces and market data processes.
Technical and Functional Skills
- MXML import and export workflows.
- MXML Exchange.
- Murex and MxML workflows.
- Trade lifecycle management.
- System interface workflow creation.
- Confirmation generation and error management.
- Out-of-System Processing (OSP).
- XML/XST, data dictionaries, and templates.
- Message Queues (MQ).
- Shell scripting in a UNIX environment.
- Understanding of SWIFT products and paper confirmations.
- Familiarity with trading interfaces such as MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, and RTNS.
- Understanding of market data loading in both Real-Time (RTBS) and Batch (MDIT) modes.
- Experience with contract, deliverable, event, and exchange workflows.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX), Interest Rate (IR), Financial Instruments (FI), and Equity products.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position requiring presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on a financial environment that demands a deep understanding of financial trading systems and data migration strategies within the Saudi market.
