About the Demand Supply Planner Role

Asteri Beauty (B Corp™) is seeking a Demand Supply Planner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on managing both demand and supply planning processes to ensure optimal stock levels and accurate forecasting within the company's operations.

Role Overview

The Demand Supply Planner is responsible for integrating demand forecasts with supply chain capabilities. This involves a dual focus on anticipating market needs and ensuring product availability, contributing to efficient inventory management and strategic business alignment across various functions.

Demand Planning Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage 12-18 month demand forecasts at the channel, category, account, and item levels.
• Recommend actions required to achieve target inventory levels.
• Lead monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) forecast reviews.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align demand forecasts with business strategies, involving finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales teams.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to assess product and category performance.
• Ensure trends are accurately captured in item-level demand plans, including base item and promotional forecasting, event planning, and weekly/monthly performance analysis and insights.
• Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variances and implement corrective actions to enhance accuracy.

Supply Planning Responsibilities

• Build ideal stock levels by location, accounting for supply reaction time and all associated lead times.
• Ensure stock availability by location for inbound warehouse replenishment from suppliers, outbound store replenishment, and outbound Sell-In to B2B customers.
• Manage inventory, including proposing stock liquidation strategies to prevent over-stock situations by location.
• Plan novelty product supply in close collaboration with the New Products Development and Marketing teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in demand and supply planning is required for this role.
