About the Role

Camco - Capital Metro Company is seeking a Depot Workshop Equipment (DWE) Supervisor to join its team in Al Nada District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and compliance of metro assets through effective maintenance oversight and technical support.

Role Purpose and Operational Impact

The DWE Supervisor supports the DWE Manager in prioritising workloads based on operational and safety demands, aligning with overall business needs. This role is critical for assisting maintenance teams with complex troubleshooting and ensuring that all asset maintenance activities adhere to stringent quality standards. Additionally, the Supervisor contributes to procurement processes by providing technical analysis and justification for RFQs, developing Bills of Materials, offering tender input, and exploring alternative equipment manufacturers to support localisation targets in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on improving quality and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for asset maintenance, maintenance planning, asset strategy, and predictive/condition-based maintenance for discipline-specific DWE systems.
• Execute maintenance and repair activities for relevant equipment according to established work plans and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure that quality standards are consistently upheld during all maintenance operations.
• Support the DWE Manager and the wider technical directorate in conducting Root Cause Analysis and Incident Reporting for faults, failures, and incidents.
• Assist the DWE Manager and technical team in the creation, review, modification, and approval of maintenance documentation, design drawings, and related documents.
• Execute and/or supervise complex maintenance activities performed by internal teams or sub-contractors.
• Review change management processes thoroughly to avoid any adverse operational impact.

Team Leadership and Safety

• Ensure the safety of teams by strictly following all safety processes and promoting the correct use of tooling.
• Create and distribute safety and quality briefs, including toolbox talks, to supervisors.
• Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting complicated issues and verify that asset maintenance is performed according to quality standards, including reviewing CMMS logs and attachments.
• Support the hiring, training, and assessment of team staff, and manage ongoing personnel training and development efforts.
• Deputise for the DWE Manager or Head of Transit Systems as required, and provide support in any reasonable requested tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, ideally within depot workshop equipment maintenance or a related field. The ability to develop solutions using initiative, with guidance from experienced peers and superiors, is essential for success in this position.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic operational environment. The role requires close coordination with multidisciplinary teams and strict adherence to safety and quality requirements throughout the asset lifecycle of metro systems.
