The Role of Design Engineer (OHTL)

The Design Engineer specializing in Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) will be responsible for the comprehensive design and technical documentation of high-voltage transmission systems. This role involves ensuring all designs comply with project specifications and established industry standards, contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design overhead transmission lines for 132kV and 380kV systems.
• Prepare detailed design drawings and perform necessary technical calculations.
• Develop Plan & Profile drawings and conduct Sag & Tension calculations.
• Ensure all design work adheres strictly to project specifications and relevant industry standards.
• Coordinate effectively with various project teams to facilitate and support design execution.
• Execute any additional duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) Design.
• Demonstrated experience in designing 132kV and 380kV transmission lines.

Essential Technical Skills

• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and MicroStation software.
• Ability to accurately prepare Sag & Tension Calculations.
• Ability to develop precise Plan & Profile drawings.
