About Vrinda Global and the Director Architect Role

Vrinda Global is seeking a highly experienced Director Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to leading the architectural vision and execution of hospitality projects within the region.

Role Purpose and Project Leadership

The Director Architect will provide comprehensive leadership for hospitality projects, overseeing all phases from initial concept development through to successful completion. This position requires a strategic approach to design, project management, and team coordination to ensure alignment with client objectives and industry standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of hospitality projects from concept to completion.
• Oversee architectural design development, ensuring alignment with project objectives, brand standards, and client requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Review and approve design proposals, technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building regulations, hospitality standards, and applicable codes.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop design teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Support business development activities by participating in client presentations, proposals, and strategic planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in design quality, project delivery, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• A Master's degree in Architecture or a related field is considered an advantage.

Experience and Professional Attributes

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project leadership, particularly within the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. A deep understanding of architectural principles, project lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance is essential.
