The Role of Director, Commercial Operations

As the Director, Commercial Operations for Unipart in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will be instrumental in securing and expanding business within the Kingdom. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. You will serve as a link between Unipart’s global solution design capabilities and the operational realities in KSA, translating client requirements into deliverable, costed, and compliant contract logistics, customs, and domestic transport operating models.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert commercial bids into deliverable, compliant, and cost-competitive KSA logistics solutions to secure new business.
• Collaborate with Unipart's global solution design teams to tailor operating models for local KSA customs, ZATCA, and regulatory conditions.
• Establish and manage a qualified, pipeline-ready network of third-party vendors and subcontractors to support an asset-light operational model.
• Lead field-based vendor sourcing, qualification, auditing, and rate negotiations across the Kingdom.
• Conduct site surveys and develop precise cost models based on vendor quotations, adhering to RFQ turnaround targets.
• Present and defend proposed operational solutions to clients during commercial bids and site visits.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated ability to convert commercial bids into viable logistics solutions.
• Experience in vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation.
• Familiarity with KSA customs, ZATCA, and local regulatory conditions.
