About the Role

EPAM Systems is seeking a Director, Technology Consulting – Telecom SME to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, hybrid role involves onsite client presence in KSA and UAE. EPAM Systems, a global provider of digital platform engineering and software development services, has been assisting clients with digital transformation for over 30 years. The company operates in Riyadh and Al Khobar, offering engineering, strategy, design, consulting, and innovation services.

Role Overview

In this senior advisory position, you will serve as a trusted partner to telecom clients, contributing to strategy development and the delivery of innovative solutions for business transformation and sustainable growth. Your responsibilities will include influencing high-impact digital initiatives, managing executive relationships, and developing value-driven propositions to enhance client competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary telecom subject matter expert for key clients, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to co-develop account plans and growth strategies.
• Lead business transformation initiatives, including product strategy and roadmap development.
• Shape and scope complex solutions, defining engagement strategies and delivery governance.
• Support contract negotiations and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting.
• Develop telecom-focused value propositions, pilot them with regional clients, and scale them globally.
• Drive revenue growth across assigned accounts and promote EPAM's end-to-end capabilities.
• Establish and strengthen senior client relationships to identify further opportunities.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging telecom technologies, trends, and regulatory dynamics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technology consulting or advisory roles within the telecom sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of B2C, B2B, and wholesale models, along with full-stack implementations (channels/BSS/OSS).
• Proven ability to manage complex enterprise engagements in consulting or IT delivery environments.
• Strategic thinking combined with the capacity for execution and delivery of measurable value.
• Deep knowledge of platforms, business models, and innovations in the telecom industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing performance metrics across multiple accounts.
• Expertise in consulting, strategic planning, and solution delivery within large-scale programs.
• A strong network within the Middle East telecom ecosystem, including clients, analysts, and partners.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies and the ability to evaluate AI-driven product opportunities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA or equivalent is considered an advantage.

Additional Experience

• Experience in global consulting environments with exposure to cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Middle East.

Work Environment and Locations

This is a full-time position. Standard working hours in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break, though hours may vary based on client needs. EPAM Systems has offices in Riyadh (Moon Tower, Mezzanine Floor, King Fahed Branch Road, AR Rahmaniyah) and Al Khobar (21st Floor, Khobar Gate Tower, Al Bandariyah District, King Fahd Road).
