About the Role
GE HealthCare, a global leader in medical technology and digital solutions, is seeking an Early Career Trainee to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in medical equipment maintenance and customer service. As an Early Career Trainee, you will contribute to ensuring the optimal performance of our Imaging medical equipment.
This position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing a foundation for a career in the healthcare technology sector. You will be part of an organization that values diverse perspectives and aims to make a difference in building a healthier world.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on GE HealthCare Imaging medical equipment.
- Conduct on-site customer visits to address equipment issues and provide service.
- Support engineers in resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain all models specific to a modality within the assigned area.
- Perform total system-level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems for electronic and mechanical issues.
- Engage in daily interface with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status and issues, acting to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to warranty and preventative maintenance (PMS) contract cost control.
- Complete administrative tasks on time, including timely completion of Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) and PMS inspection documentation for assigned accounts.
- Deal tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, influencing rather than directing customer interactions.
- Focus on customer impact and aim to resolve issues effectively during the first visit.
- Demonstrate basic customer relationship skills.
- Manage material consumption and work to address root cause issues and minimize costs through efficient usage of resources.
- Utilize applicable digital tools that support productivity initiatives, such as Smart PM and proactive (onwatch) alerts.
- Discuss alternative cost-effective solutions with support engineers.
- Maintain a consistently positive approach with customers, ensuring they are aware of and have a positive perception of GE's service.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve continuously.
- Use applicable digital platforms efficiently.
- Ensure connectivity of responsible systems.
- Complete all Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) trainings on time.
- Ensure the quality of service requests (SRs) and PM checklists.
- Support Service Sales with contract renewals, option and upgrade opportunities, and contract conversions.
- Support Sales teams with new equipment sales opportunities and opportunities related to End-of-Service-Life (EOSL) systems.
- Comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
- Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
- Ensure timely dispatch closure.
- Ensure completion of all field modification instructions (FMIs) within the prescribed timeframe.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- Readiness to travel within Saudi Arabia and abroad for training and business purposes.

Work Environment and Details
