About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking experienced EHS Engineers to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires individuals with 5-10 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety implementation within project environments.

Site HSE Implementation

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the effective implementation of project HSE plans, procedures, method statements, and risk assessments on site. This involves conducting regular inspections, safety walks, and audits across all work fronts to guarantee compliance with established safety protocols.

• Enforce project HSE plans, procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Ensure daily compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, Working at Height, Lifting Operations, Electrical Safety, and Excavation controls.
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety walks, and audits across all work fronts.
• Monitor high-risk activities including piling and civil works, heavy lifting and crane operations, DC/AC electrical works, work at height (trackers, modules, inverters), hot works, and confined spaces.
• Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessments (TRA).
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions, ensuring immediate corrective actions are taken.
• Track and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and audit findings.
• Participate in design and construction safety reviews.

Training and Awareness Programs

A key aspect of the role involves fostering a strong safety culture through comprehensive training and awareness initiatives. This includes delivering essential safety orientations and trade-specific training to site personnel.

• Conduct site HSE induction and trade-specific training.
• Deliver toolbox talks, supervisor coaching, and safety campaigns.
• Promote safety culture, worker engagement, and the reporting of near misses.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a solid background in environmental, health, and safety management within large-scale projects. The required experience level is between 5 to 10 years.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role is integral to the operational safety of projects within the region.
