About the Role

eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is seeking a skilled Electronics Devices Technician to join its Service Technical Center team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for the efficient and effective repair of various electronic products, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational standards.

Role Overview

The Electronics Devices Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing defective electrical products, managing spare parts inventory, and upholding high service standards. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical aptitude, and effective communication skills to ensure smooth operations within the service center.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair defective electrical products including televisions, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, blenders, mixers, water dispensers, and other small appliances.
• Control and manage the consumption of spare parts efficiently.
• Order required spare parts in accordance with established working instructions.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure timely resolution of pending cases.
• Prepare charge estimates for out-of-warranty and misuse cases.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for defective items, for review and signature by the Senior Electrical Technician.
• Update the system daily with all completed work and relevant details.
• Ensure consistent implementation of service standard operating procedures in all daily activities.
• Achieve assigned service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the area of work.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electronics or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics repair, with a preference for experience gained in an authorized service center.
• Demonstrated repair skills covering televisions and small home appliances.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in electronics repair.
• A customer-oriented approach with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Good communication skills in English.
