About the Technician Role
ALESAYI HOLDING is seeking a skilled Technician to join their team in Makkah, specifically serving the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and focuses on the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of home appliances and related components.
Core Responsibilities
The Technician will apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills to test, repair, and install a range of home appliances, including air conditioning and refrigeration units, electrical and electromechanical components, and small home appliances. Service work will be performed both within the service center and at customer locations, adhering strictly to product service manuals and specifications to ensure timely completion.
Key Duties and Tasks
- Order necessary spare parts from the designated section for product repairs.
- Document all spare parts utilized during repairs within repair documents and the company's system.
- Conduct functional tests on newly repaired or installed units to assess system performance under operational conditions.
- Obtain customer confirmation of product performance post-repair, particularly for services rendered at their homes.
- Report any service-interrupting events immediately to the Service Supervisor or Chief Technician.
- Submit collected service payments from customers to the service center on the same day or the following day for home services.
- Perform home visits to provide service and repair customer products.
- Manage job order turnaround times: 3 working days for indoor tasks and 5 working days for outdoor tasks.
- Achieve a minimum of 7 home visits per day, with at least 4 units repaired daily during these visits.
- Complete a minimum of 18 SDA (Small Domestic Appliances) units daily within the service center.
- Complete a minimum of 7 AV (Audio-Visual) units daily within the service center.
- Complete a minimum of 8 Hoover Vacuum Cleaner (VC) and Microwave (MW) units daily within the service center.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in repairing AV (Audio-Visual) and SDA (Small Domestic Appliances).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver’s license is considered an advantage.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with service duties extending to Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves both in-service center work and customer site visits.
