About the Role

Palace Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced professional for an Engineering Studies role based in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading pre-project technical studies to ensure the feasibility and viability of proposed projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-project technical studies to determine project feasibility and viability, supporting informed decision-making and resource alignment.
• Direct the preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) for various project types, ensuring thorough analysis and regulatory compliance.
• Guide cost-benefit analyses, business case evaluations, and investment payback period calculations for accurate financial assessments.
• Identify specific project requirements, such as water and fuel specifications, to ensure precise planning and adherence to standards.
• Oversee site evaluation studies and tests, including Geotechnical Soil Investigations, to ensure reliable data for engineering assessments.
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of consultancy contracts for feasibility studies and oversee technical and optimization studies.
• Collaborate with functions like Scoping and Cost Estimation to achieve comprehensive feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate with external entities, such as regulatory bodies or partners, to obtain relevant data and insights.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends to implement the latest standards and techniques in engineering studies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering studies, project management, or a related field.
• Experience in the range of 5-10 years is required for this role.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in strategy and business planning.
• Management or leading-level experience is considered a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh.
