About the Enterprise Reporting & BI Lead Role

Cenomi Retail is seeking an experienced Enterprise Reporting & BI Lead to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and reporting to design, develop, and maintain solutions that provide actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making within the retail sector.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Enterprise Reporting & BI Lead will be instrumental in translating business needs into effective reporting solutions. This involves close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to gather and document reporting requirements. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, primarily using Power BI, to support management and operational teams. A key aspect of this position is ensuring data accuracy and reliability through validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis of any discrepancies.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business reporting requirements from stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions and actionable insights.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis for reporting discrepancies.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to enhance reporting processes and data quality.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and executive dashboards for management reporting.
  • Understand end-to-end retail business processes to convert operational data into business intelligence.
  • Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to reporting models and analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting standards, documentation, and governance practices.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements

Candidates for this role must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics is required, with a strong understanding of retail business operations and their reporting needs. Proficiency in Power BI, Oracle Database, and Microsoft SQL Server is essential, alongside excellent SQL programming skills for complex query writing and optimization. Proven experience in data investigation, debugging, and resolving reporting inconsistencies is also critical.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of retail business operations and reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on expertise in Power BI, Oracle Database, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Excellent SQL programming skills.
  • Proven experience in data investigation and resolving reporting inconsistencies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Additional experience that would be beneficial includes working with Oracle Retail applications and Oracle Fusion Cloud modules. Familiarity with key retail KPIs and business functions such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), Inventory, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) in Finance, and Hire-to-Fire (H2F) in Human Capital Management (HCM) is highly regarded. Experience within a fashion or multi-store retail environment is also considered a strong advantage.
