About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is crucial for supporting the development and implementation of sustainability and environmental initiatives, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and ESG standards. The specialist will focus on enhancing environmental performance, monitoring sustainability metrics, and promoting sustainable practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed credit assessments, documentation reviews, and certification compliance verification.
  • Review material submittals and ensure compliance with sustainable design principles.
  • Manage sustainability certification processes independently and coordinate with Client and PMC teams.
  • Review and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP), Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), and related documentation.
  • Monitor environmental performance during construction, including waste management, pollution control, and resource efficiency.
  • Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and prepare reports in coordination with PMC/Client teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in environmental and sustainability roles.
  • Proven experience in delivering LEED * (minimum Gold level) and Mostadam certification for large-scale projects, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Relevant professional accreditation, such as LEED AP BD+C, with demonstrated project delivery experience.
  • Familiarity with environmental permitting, impact assessments (EIA), and mitigation measures.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and compliance requirements applicable to projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Skills and Capabilities

  • Strong technical capability in detailed credit assessment and compliance verification.
  • Hands-on experience in material submittal review and sustainable design compliance.
  • Ability to independently manage processes and coordinate with various teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, KSA, requiring collaboration with internal teams, clients, and project management consultants to achieve environmental and sustainability objectives.
