About the Executive Sales Role

Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join their team. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. The Executive Sales role focuses on driving revenue, maintaining guest loyalty, and ensuring exceptional guest service within the hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Utilize sales techniques, including up-selling, to maximize revenue while preserving existing guest loyalty.
  • Determine and issue complimentary items to guests as tokens of appreciation for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
  • Promote brand awareness both internally and externally.
  • Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
  • Handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.

Guest Interaction and Service Standards

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation for their patronage.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Teamwork and Professional Conduct

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Support the team to achieve common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

The role involves performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. This may include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats is also required.
