About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, * is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is centered on delivering a distinctive and memorable experience for guests, extending beyond the standard provision of food and beverages.

Role Purpose

The F&B Service Expert is responsible for taking initiative to provide a wide range of services that ensure guests fully enjoy their dining experience. This includes making all interactions, including transactions, feel like an integral part of the overall guest journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen team to facilitate smooth service.
• Interacting with and serving guests in a professional and attentive manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Qualifications and Success Factors

Candidates for this position should have 0-1 year of relevant experience. Success in this role also requires adherence to operational standards and professional conduct, including:

Physical Requirements

This role requires physical activity and mobility, including:

• Moving over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Managing the menu, which involves reading and visually verifying information.
• Taking a hands-on approach to work, which includes:
  • Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
