Facility Engineer

About the Role

Tarshid - National Energy Services Company is seeking a Facility Engineer 1 to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves supporting the Projects Program Manager in daily project execution duties, focusing on maintaining operational efficiency and safety within facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance schedules and follow up on execution to minimize downtime.
• Support in calculating maintenance costs relative to Asset Replacement Value to inform repair/replace decisions.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions impacting operations.
• Prepare weekly reports for management review.
• Create and oversee maintenance requests within the ERP system.
• Manage the upload of project assets into the ERP system.
• Ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards by reporting unsafe practices or environmental impacts.
• Support a superior in planning and implementing facilities equipment maintenance programs.
• Provide technical assistance for facilities engineering, including installation, startup, repair, training, and modification of power transmission systems.
• Maintain confidentiality in all work-related matters and information.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant role.
• Relevant Professional Certification (PMP, etc.) is preferred.

Required Skills

• Professional proficiency in English is required, and fluency in Arabic is essential.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of the functions and operations of major electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Understanding of engineering principles and practices in facility engineering services.
• Knowledge of modern materials, methods, and techniques for the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of structures and facilities.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates within a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting project execution and facility maintenance.
