Engineer Facility Management

About the Role

Maaden is seeking a Facility Management Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective Facility Management (FM) projects across Maaden facilities. The Engineer will control project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk to protect operations, enhance asset performance, and ensure compliant handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver FM capital, renovation, infrastructure, and improvement projects according to approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and HSE standards.
• Drive project execution from requirements and design review through commissioning, handover, and close-out phases.
• Approve practical and maintainable civil and multidisciplinary solutions.
• Validate technical submissions, inspections, testing, defect resolution, and handover records.
• Control project budgets, claims, variations, schedule risks, and corrective actions.
• Enforce Maaden HSE, permit-to-work, regulatory, and building-code requirements.
• Drive contractor delivery, safety, quality, resourcing, and contractual performance.
• Align FM, Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Finance, users, and service providers on project decisions.
• Report progress, risks, and actions clearly to stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned and standardize effective delivery practices for future projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

Measures of Success

Success in this role is defined by projects delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to scope. Facilities must be handed over complete, compliant, and ready for operation. The ability to resolve risks, variations, and contractor gaps early, along with clear reporting that enables fast decisions and stronger future delivery, is crucial.
