Field Service Engineer (Medical Devices)

About the Role

Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing advanced technical service solutions for ASP products, including installation, validation, and maintenance of sterilization systems. The role requires 2-5 years of experience and operates under remote supervision, focusing on improving system utilization and supporting lifecycle management activities within assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, advanced troubleshooting, repair, and planned maintenance within the assigned territory.
• Establish open communication channels with customers and proactively develop targeted solutions for technical issues.
• Lead and develop solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborate with sales and clinical education teams to deliver customer-focused business solutions that enhance loyalty and sustain the ASP installed base.
• Work effectively as part of a cross-functional group, leveraging best practices to maximize team effectiveness.
• Manage all responsibilities within the primary territory, including compliance and documentation requirements.
• Execute preventive maintenance and accurately document performance and maintenance records.
• Actively work towards increasing service contract capture rates.
• Manage spare parts inventory with partners and plan requirements as needed.
• Respond to and support customers in critical cases, managing expectations to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete all assigned trainings and documentation requirements by their due dates.
• Devise project plans for the installation-planning phase of new equipment.
• Complete all activities within the Service Management System through daily updates and documentation.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

Work Environment and Travel

The role involves approximately 10% work from home or office and 90% in hospital or surgery center environments. The Field Service Engineer must be able to travel overnight locally, regionally, and internationally as needed to support assigned accounts.
