About the Front Office Manager Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Saudi National to fill the position of Front Office Manager in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing daily operations to ensure high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Front Office Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the front office, ensuring that quality standards are met and customer expectations are consistently fulfilled. This includes developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and achieve budget targets and guest experience scores. The role also involves handling guest complaints, resolving disputes, and managing staff conflicts. Effective supervision of staffing levels is crucial to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives. The manager must understand and manage the impact of departmental operations on the overall financial goals of the property.

Furthermore, the Front Office Manager is expected to foster a positive team environment by encouraging mutual trust, respect, and cooperation. This involves improving service delivery through clear communication, assisting team members in understanding guest needs, and providing guidance and coaching. Training staff and monitoring adherence to credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debts and rebates are also key duties. Soliciting employee feedback, maintaining an open-door policy, and reviewing employee satisfaction results are important for addressing staff concerns. The role also includes assisting in the interviewing and hiring of qualified team members and supporting departmental orientation and new hire training programs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess 5-7 years or more of experience in a hotel front office position. Experience working with Marriott International brands is required. The role demands strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strategic planning, team building, and leadership skills are essential.
