Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial activities and analyzing performance in our e-commerce store. This is a full-time on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Manage and track inventory to ensure record accuracy and estimate waste.
  • Calculate compensation for customers who file complaints.
  • Analyze the financial performance of marketing campaigns in terms of return on investment.
  • Prepare budgets and profit and loss accounts.
  • Generate weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Improve accounting processes to increase efficiency.
  • File tax returns.
  • Integrate the accounting system with the Salla e-commerce platform to facilitate payment processing, invoicing, and inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (*, Zoho) and integration knowledge with platforms like Salla.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits:
A monthly salary ranging from 4000 to 5000 SAR based on competence and experience, along with performance-based incentives related to quality of work.

Role:
The Accountant will support the finance team by performing basic accounting and administrative tasks. This role is essential for ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, timely reconciliations, and assisting with routine reporting in compliance with Abyat’s financial policies and Saudi regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Support in preparing journal entries and general ledger postings.
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Organize and maintain financial documentation and records.
  • Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary documentation.
  • Support VAT filing and documentation under Saudi tax laws.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 02 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Saudi VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
