About the Role

********* is seeking a highly accomplished Head of Investment Placement for a client, operating at a CO-CEO level. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires a strategic leader to drive the growth of the investment business across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The role is focused on setting strategic direction and leadership, rather than direct execution.

Strategic Leadership and Team Management

The Head of Investment Placement will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the investment business. This includes building and leading a high-performing Investment Placement Team across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The role involves operating as a principal representative of the business, engaging at the highest institutional and board levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the investment business across KSA and the broader GCC.
• Set the strategic direction for the investment business.
• Build and lead a high-performing Investment Placement Team across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
• Identify and close strategic partnerships.
• Manage C-level investor relationships.
• Ensure all activities comply with SAMA and CMA regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in investment management, with significant tenure in senior leadership roles. A verifiable track record of designing and executing large-scale fundraising strategies targeting sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, public pension funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals across the region is essential. Deep knowledge of alternative investment products, including private equity, real estate, and venture capital, is required. An established and portable presence within the KSA and GCC investment community is also a key requirement.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proven ability to lead, build, and motivate a high-performing investment placement team.
• Experience leading complex negotiations for strategic collaborations and partnerships.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging with C-level stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business field.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements of SAMA and CMA.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and mitigating risks associated with large-scale investment portfolios.
