About the Role

Fircroft is seeking a Healthcare Digital Field Service Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting advanced Enterprise Imaging Solutions within Radiology and Cardiology domains, often requiring the engineer to serve as a Resident Engineer at designated customer sites.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Healthcare Digital Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of critical healthcare IT systems. This includes the installation, configuration, support, maintenance, and optimization of solutions such as RIS, PACS, VNA, and integrated healthcare applications. The role demands strong technical expertise and excellent customer-facing skills to ensure the delivery of effective healthcare technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of healthcare IT solutions, including RIS, PACS, VNA, Cardiology Imaging Systems, and third-party applications and hardware.
  • Conduct site surveys and support system deployments, upgrades, migrations, and go-live activities, ensuring successful integration with hospital systems.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating with support teams to resolve incidents.
  • Serve as a Resident Engineer at customer sites as required, building strong customer relationships and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Conduct regular system health checks, proactive maintenance, and performance monitoring to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead customer communications during critical incidents, facilitate post-incident reviews, and analyze feedback to drive continuous improvement in support processes and customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and service records, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in Healthcare IT, Medical Imaging, or Healthcare Technology environments, with a proven track record of supporting enterprise imaging solutions within hospitals or healthcare organizations. Hands-on experience with RIS, PACS, VNA, Cardiology systems, and healthcare integrations is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves significant customer-facing activities and may require serving as a Resident Engineer at customer locations as per contractual agreements.
