The Role of HR Specialist
CTRD Arabia is seeking an HR Specialist to join its People Team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract role is integral to developing a high-performing, agile HR function that supports the organization's overall business strategy and growth. The HR Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of HR operations and employee lifecycle administration, specifically associated with an organizational design project and program of activity within Saudi Arabia.
The role provides practical support across onboarding, employment documentation, HR data management, employee records, and contracts management through the Qiwa portal. It ensures accurate and compliant HR administration for the project, maintaining employee information, completing employment actions on time, and storing documentation in line with company requirements. The specialist will also support new hire onboarding for transferring team members by coordinating joining requirements and delivering induction sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations and employee lifecycle administration for consultants transferring to CTRD Arabia employees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Prepare, update, maintain, and organize employee documentation, including employment contracts, onboarding records, personal files, signed forms, HR letters, and supporting documents for the defined population.
- Maintain accurate employee data and HR records across internal trackers, HR systems, shared folders, and employee files, ensuring information is complete, current, and audit-ready.
- Deliver HR induction sessions for team members transferring to Qiwa contracts as an outcome of the organization design program.
- Support Qiwa portal administration, including employment contract actions, contract amendments, employee information updates, acceptance tracking, and related HR compliance follow-up for the in-scope population.
- Support monthly HR reporting by preparing, checking, and updating employee data, onboarding status, portal actions, and headcount records in respect of the in-scope population.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure HR records are handled in accordance with company policy and applicable data protection requirements.
- Support internal HR process improvements, including trackers, filing structures, induction materials, and system administration workflows for the in-scope team.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, shared services, onboarding, or a similar HR support role in Saudi Arabia.
- Hands-on experience using or supporting Qiwa, GOSI, and Mudad portals.
- Good understanding of employee onboarding, employment documentation, HR records management, and employee lifecycle administration.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple trackers, deadlines, and follow-ups accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document keeping, data keeping, and employee file management.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to coordinate with employees, managers, Government Relations, and Finance.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Desirable Attributes
- Previous experience in a multinational, consultancy, professional services, or project-based environment.
- Working knowledge of Saudi Labour Law, HRSD requirements, and KSA employment compliance practices.
- Experience with HR systems such as BambooHR, SharePoint, DocuSign, or similar platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills, including data validation, trackers, basic formulas, and reporting.
Work Environment and Contract Details
This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a contract basis. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
