About the HSE Inspector Role

BEC Arabia is seeking an experienced HSE Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional to ensure a safe and compliant work environment on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all site activities to ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and specific project safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify and report unsafe conditions and practices.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with all project-specific HSE procedures.
• Monitor critical construction activities, including lifting operations, excavation, work at height, and equipment operations, for safety compliance.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and conduct safety awareness sessions for site personnel.
• Document and report all incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts observed on site.
• Verify the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure high standards of site housekeeping.
• Support and participate in HSE audits and inspections.
• Maintain accurate daily safety reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
• A minimum of 5 years of HSE experience within the construction industry.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• Experience with mega construction projects is essential.
• A strong understanding of Saudi HSE regulations is required.

Preferred Skills

• OSHA or IOSH certifications are preferred.
