About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves the installation and commissioning of system field devices, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within existing systems. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices.
• Perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in HVAC systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues that arise.
• Deliver work output according to specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems in existing systems and processes, including making minor changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to address problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, where the scope of the problem is well-defined.
• Capability to address vaguely defined problems that may require understanding and consideration of other job areas.
• Demonstrated specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations.

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams, contractors, and customers.
• Understanding of broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices, as needed.

Work Environment

This is a full-time individual contributor role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultures.
