About KONE and the Role

KONE, a certified Top Employer, is seeking an Installation Supervisor for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing and controlling installation projects from the sales/installation handover phase through to completion and handover to the client and Maintenance team. The supervisor will lead and manage the installation team to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery of KONE solutions within budget. The Installation Supervisor also serves as the primary KONE interface for customers and other stakeholders throughout the fulfillment process and supports the sales team with pre-tender and tender activities as requested.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall delivery and financial results of installation projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring site safety and efficient management of environmental aspects during installation.
  • Participate in sales/installation handovers and validate order terms with the salesperson.
  • Plan and organize the delivery and storage of materials and tools to the site, and place orders with subcontractors and non-KONE factory material suppliers.
  • Manage site preparations and monitor site readiness.
  • Ensure the correct KONE installation methods are used throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Controlling to align site activities with contractual payment terms and received payments.
  • Accountable for final equipment testing and handover to the maintenance team.

Customer and Subcontractor Management

  • Accountable for customer satisfaction and the quality of installation.
  • Accountable for subcontractor quality and safety performance.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the customer during installation regarding site management, responsible for internal and external communication throughout the project.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Accountable for the development and wellbeing of site operatives, and for managing team and individual performance.
  • Determine objectives, plan, organize, communicate with, control, and motivate the installation team.
  • Identify field operative training needs and manage training plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage and develop installation teams.
