Interface Lead

About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced Interface Lead to manage interface coordination for a major airport program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This part-time role involves leading multidisciplinary coordination, embedding dependencies within program schedules, and resolving complex interfaces across various packages and stakeholders. The position requires significant experience in delivering complex, multi-package aviation programs.

Project Context

This opportunity is for a large new build airport project in Saudi Arabia, designed to establish a global benchmark for aviation experience. The project aims to attract 120 million passengers by 2030. Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to enhance project potential and redefine ambition boundaries, guided by values that shape its approach and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety First, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and fostering a positive safety culture, wellbeing, and inclusion.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, maintaining quality systems and supporting senior leaders to achieve program milestones.
• Oversee budgets, risks, and ethical governance, contributing to long-term business sustainability.
• Manage collaborative project teams, driving performance, stakeholder engagement, and best practice innovation across all project phases.
• Manage program-wide interface management, including setting strategy, governance, processes, and reporting.
• Coordinate complex interfaces across design, infrastructure, systems, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Maintain interface registers, ownership, dependencies, and schedules, driving timely resolution and escalation of issues.
• Guide teams and stakeholders, identifying risks early and providing senior leaders with clear, actionable insights.

Candidate Requirements

• Significant experience in delivering complex, multi-package aviation programs is essential.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve complex interfaces.
• Experience in embedding dependencies within program schedules.
