Position Summary:
MGIS is an International School with IB certification, where English is the language of instruction for most subjects. Islamic studies are taught in both Arabic and English from KG1 to Grade 9. The Islamic Studies Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess lessons educating students on Islamic principles, history, values, and practices in accordance with IB philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Planning and Delivery: Develop lesson plans aligned with Islamic Studies curriculum standards. Teach Islamic principles, Quranic studies, Seerah, Hadith, and Fiqh using engaging methods. Integrate practical applications of Islamic values into lessons.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment. Set clear academic and behavioral expectations aligning with Islamic values. Encourage active participation among students.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Design assessments to evaluate understanding of Islamic teachings. Provide constructive feedback to improve knowledge and conduct.
  • Student Support and Engagement: Mentor students on applying Islamic teachings. Support students in memorizing Quranic verses. Inspire engagement in Islamic practices.
  • Professional Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with colleagues to align the curriculum and share teaching strategies. Participate in professional development.
  • Contribution to School Community: Organize school events related to Islamic occasions. Participate in faculty meetings and community outreach activities.

The Role
We’re looking for a Media Relations Manager with over 5 years of experience and a strong track record of securing impactful media coverage across Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is focused on driving earned media results across daily newspapers, top-tier digital outlets, and lifestyle and consumer media. The ideal candidate will be based in Riyadh, bilingual in Arabic and English, and possess deep relationships within the KSA media landscape—especially with editors and journalists across national news, luxury, and business press. The Skills Required
Technical
- Excellent media pitching and relationship-building skills
- Deep understanding of editorial calendars, news cycles, and industry trends

- Ability to identify and recommend speaker opportunities at conferences and exhibitions

Experience
- 5+ years in media relations, public relations, or journalism, preferably within the Saudi market

Language Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and editors across all major KSA print, broadcast, and digital outlets
- Proactively pitch stories, interviews, and feature ideas to media in both English and Arabic
- Distribute press releases, secure timely coverage, and follow up effectively to maximize media results
- Track trends, monitor editorial calendars, and identify relevant media moments to insert clients into the conversation
- Draft compelling media materials including press releases, media invitations, and tailored pitch notes
- Seek out and recommend speaker and panel opportunities at relevant regional events and trade shows
- Maintain and expand the agency’s media database, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Share regular media placement reports and examples of coverage secured
