About the Role

Accor is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within our laundry operations. The role requires a detail-oriented and efficient individual to support daily operations.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, the Laundry Attendant will be responsible for the sorting, processing, and preparation of linens, ensuring consistent adherence to all health and safety protocols. This position plays a vital part in supporting housekeeping operations and contributing to an exceptional guest experience through well-maintained linen services.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort soiled guestroom and food & beverage linens, filling containers and accurately labeling them for pick-up.
• Identify and set aside misused or damaged linen for further investigation and reporting.
• Report any foreign articles found within linen or chute areas (*, glass, food, cutlery, needles) to the Supervisor immediately.
• Fold, roll, and organize clean towels, bathrobes, and room linens into containers for distribution by floor staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks and gloves.
• Assist with washing towels and linens when required, following all guidelines for chemical handling and proper lifting techniques.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor promptly.
• Support other team members and assist with additional duties within the laundry area as needed.
• Attend training courses and professional development sessions provided by the Housekeeping and Human Resources departments.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma or vocational training certification.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in laundry operations or housekeeping (preferred).
• Previous experience in luxury hotel housekeeping operations (preferred).

• Physical capability to lift, carry, and handle items weighing up to 25 lbs regularly.
