  • Developing and updating assessment templates and audit tools to align with operational procedures and policies, ensuring accurate tax imposition and timely valuation for senior taxpayers.
  • Monitoring industry-specific developments and sector updates (*, business, insurance, telecommunications, consumer goods) to identify new tax practices adopted by companies for inclusion in assessments.
  • Maintaining and updating senior taxpayer manuals, declarations, eligibility criteria, and legal requirements, integrating this information into audit tools for efficient evaluation.
  • Coordinating with account managers and senior taxpayers to facilitate auditor requests for information and clarifications.
  • Conducting office audit activities and liaising with stakeholders such as account managers, taxpayers, banks, government bodies, and audit offices to gather necessary information.
  • Collaborating with the Legal Affairs Department to review contractual structures and ensure applicant legitimacy.
  • Performing comprehensive data collection to understand taxpayers' business operations, including industry practices, business structure, size, activities, operational quality, and accounting systems.
  • Researching general news, articles, databases, and shared channels to gather relevant information for VAT assessments.
  • Examining and evaluating financial positions, income declarations, and revenue streams against industry standards to determine appropriate valuation approaches.
  • Reviewing taxpayer returns, identifying high-risk and non-compliant cases, and communicating with internal stakeholders to mitigate potential risks, including tax evasion.
  • Reviewing current and past audit files to validate sales, accounts receivable, import, inventory, and other related accounts.
  • Preparing reports on high-risk cases based on audit findings and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Generating reports and statistics on major taxpayers to identify patterns and trends, supporting decision-making in revenue assessment and forecasting.
  • Coordinating with the Legal Support Department to ensure compliance with the Authority's technical position and relevant tax laws and regulations.
