About the Role
Maharah Human Resources Company is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Affairs Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring all operations are conducted in adherence to legal standards and company policies. The Legal Affairs Officer will play a crucial part in mitigating legal risks and advising management on a wide range of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other critical legal documents to protect the company's interests.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal company policies across all business functions.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to management on various corporate and labor law issues impacting the organization.
- Assist in the effective resolution of legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary to manage complex cases.
- Continuously monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's business operations and strategy.
- Support the meticulous preparation and timely submission of all required legal documentation and official filings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform and support strategic decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal matters, correspondence, and related documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited university is essential.
- Previous experience in a legal affairs role is required, with a preference for candidates with experience within the HR or corporate sector.
- Possess strong knowledge of relevant Saudi Arabian laws and regulations, with a particular emphasis on labor law.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Exhibit a strong ability to interpret and effectively apply legal information to practical business scenarios.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive legal documentation.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic language skills is considered a significant advantage.
