• Conduct regular safety inspections of pool areas and equipment.
• Educate guests about pool safety and usage guidelines.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents and safety checks.
• Collaborate with recreation and security teams to ensure overall guest safety.
• Attend regular training and maintain required certifications.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Certified lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience as a lifeguard preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Monitor activities in the swimming area to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers.

• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.
• Maintain order in swimming areas.
• Determine the chlorine content and PH value of water using testing kits.
• Conduct swimming meets and provide swimming instructions.

• Regularly check and maintain pool equipment and facilities.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until medical services arrive.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess a diploma or university degree in recreation or a related field, with prior experience in the hotel industry. Candidates must be professional swimmers, physically fit, and capable of working long hours outdoors. Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal skills are a definite advantage.
