About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our supply chain operations, from product receipt to final delivery and site support.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the smooth shipping of products by arranging appropriate transportation and coordinating deliveries to meet customer demand effectively.
• Oversee the receiving of products, coordinating their delivery and preparing outgoing loads for shipment.
• Implement measures to prevent quality control issues and maintain optimal warehouse capacity to support operational needs.
• Manage all activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle, ensuring that all deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain and oversee the inventory of goods and vehicles, ensuring accuracy and availability.
• Continuously review freight costs, transportation rates, and raw material prices to identify opportunities for cost minimization.
• Streamline and optimize shipping and transportation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Manage the supply of heavy equipment, materials, and manpower required for site operations.
• Ensure the security of stores and operational sites through effective management and oversight.
• Administer and manage rental equipment contracts, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate and manage accommodation arrangements for staff and laborers.
• Oversee and manage contracts related to raw materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A Certificate in Supply Chain management is essential.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar logistics or supply chain coordination role is necessary.
• Possession of very good command of spoken and written English is a prerequisite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
• Good knowledge of operating heavy equipment is essential for site operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively lead groups of individuals and teams.
