Mechanical Maintenance Operations

The Maintenance Engineer Mechanical will oversee critical mechanical maintenance activities, focusing on ensuring continuous and efficient operation of production lines. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising mechanical maintenance for compression, coating, capsule filling, granulation, blistering, and packaging lines.
• Leading root cause analysis for mechanical failures to identify and address underlying issues.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinating planned shutdown activities to minimize operational disruption.

Technical Projects and Reliability Programs

This role involves significant engagement in technical project management and the development of reliability-focused maintenance strategies. Responsibilities include:

• Leading the mechanical scope for new equipment transfer, erecting, installation, and commissioning.
• Managing mechanical revamping, retrofitting, upgrading, and system modifications.
• Executing major overhauls and technical improvement projects.
• Reviewing mechanical layouts and utility integration plans.
• Evaluating supplier proposals and technical solutions for new installations or upgrades.
• Coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and supporting qualification phases.
• Ensuring alignment of all activities with production, quality, and safety standards.
• Developing and optimizing preventive maintenance plans.
• Implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance.

Supervisory Responsibilities and Compliance

The Maintenance Engineer Mechanical will also hold supervisory duties and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards. Key aspects include:

• Supervising mechanical technicians and external contractors.
• Planning manpower allocation and maintenance scheduling.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.
• Providing technical training and coaching to team members.
