As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of all maintenance issues within the hotel, aimed at delivering an exceptional guest and member experience. Your responsibilities will include daily checks, repairing mechanical equipment, and coordinating renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle all maintenance issues within the hotel.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks around the hotel.
  • Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all hotel fixtures and fittings are safe and take immediate action on any unsafe situations.
  • Develop and manage emergency programs and energy conservation initiatives.
  • Coordinate renovation projects and oversee contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections and train employees accordingly.

Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering.
  • Positive attitude with good communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-level customer service.
  • Excellent grooming standards and flexibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
  • Previous management experience is preferred.

Desirable Skills:
  • First Aid certification.
  • Vocational training in engineering or similar fields.
