About the Construction Manager Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Manager - Construction to oversee significant construction projects. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires a leader capable of managing all project phases from planning through to successful execution. The role is integral to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards within the Riyadh Province.

Role Overview and Project Context

The Manager - Construction will be responsible for driving the construction efforts for a large-scale entertainment complex. This involves coordinating effectively with internal departments, external contractors, and various stakeholders to ensure the seamless progress of construction activities. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a major regional development project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other technical professionals to ensure accurate execution of design specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, provide regular reports, and adjust plans as needed to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality of work and timely completion.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable legal requirements and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all construction operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a significant focus on large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex construction projects within established budgets and timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Familiarity with project management software and construction technology.
