About the Role

EY is seeking a Manager, Risk Consulting FSRM to join its Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants, including Banks, Pension Funds, Investment Companies, and Insurance firms. The FSRM practice delivers solutions encompassing Pillar one and Pillar Two Risks, Risk Analytics, Credit Analysis, Investment Analysis, and Risk Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

As an FSRM Manager, you will technically contribute to and lead Financial Services Risk Management engagements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams effectively, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating engagement directors and partners on progress.
  • Building valuable relationships with external clients and internal peers.
  • Contributing to presentations and providing inputs to proposals.
  • Staying abreast of innovative commercial insights relevant to clients.
  • Assisting in packaging overall project findings into clear, concise, high-quality deliverables.
  • Serving as a role model for junior team members regarding quality and risk management.
  • Ensuring junior team members are aware of, understand, and comply with EY's Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
  • Communicating effectively with junior team members and supporting their development into high performers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this role:

  • A strong educational background from a top institution, with a quantitative, finance, economics, or actuarial program.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in a consulting and/or banking environment.
  • Experience working in a project-based, team-oriented environment, preferably within the banking sector or consulting, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering in fast-paced and demanding settings.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following professional certifications are preferred:

  • FRM and/or CFA.
