Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the company's project tendering and cost estimation processes, contributing to successful project acquisition and execution.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and comprehensive proposals for mechanical works across various projects. This role requires a strong analytical approach, meticulous attention to detail, and effective coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure competitive and precise bidding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to understand project scope.
• Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for various mechanical works, including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and infrastructure utility systems.
• Develop accurate project cost estimates and detailed pricing analyses for tender submissions.
• Source and evaluate quotations from potential suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Compile and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding processes.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure alignment on project data and cost estimation accuracy.
• Identify and analyze project-specific risks and opportunities to enhance overall project profitability.
• Manage and update cost databases, pricing records, and market rate information.
• Continuously monitor local and international market trends to maintain competitive and accurate pricing strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation and tendering, specifically within contracting companies.
• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of local and international construction markets, including key suppliers and current pricing trends.
