Unilabs is seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated Laboratory Technicians to join our growing team in KSA. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform bench work;
Review changes to technical documentation;
Validate study reports;
Check in samples from ARCA;
Perform the receiving inspection;
Check delivery notes against purchase orders;
Register non-conformities and complaints;
Draw up templates and operating procedures;
Identify inappropriate equipment and supplies;
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area;

Requirements:

Associate/Bachelors degree in Genomics, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields;
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting;
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques;
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
Proficiency in laboratory equipment and computer systems;
Good communication skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Willingness to learn and adapt;
Valid medical laboratory technician certification preferred;

Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine analysis in one of the divisions of Clinical Laboratory and blood bank department under the supervision of the Senior Medical Technician staff. The technician may rotate through various laboratory sections to maintain familiarity with procedures needed for emergency cases during shifts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure superior quality of medical treatment and compassion in every patient interaction at the Riyadh care Hospitals and Clinics.
Perform duties on-call, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Acquire specimens in aseptic conditions for testing.
Prepare specimens for testing and evaluate their integrity as per policies.
Create daily worksheets of activities following diagnostic applications.
Conduct routine and moderately complex testing according to SOPs and quality control assessments.
Prepare common use reagents and calibrate equipment for daily activities.
Assess equipment performance regularly and maintain relevant documentation.
Evaluate new methods under direct supervision.
Manage daily calibration and maintenance of equipment.
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality control standards.
Keep accurate records of quality control and patient results.
Report any deficiencies to Senior Technician or Chief Technician.
Engage in solutions for laboratory troubleshooting.
Maintain an appropriate inventory of common reagents and products.
Follow the quality system approach.
Validate and accept laboratory results under supervision.
Participate in training and orientation of new technicians.
Educate patients and families as per their needs regarding the education policies and procedures.
Protect patients' health information.
