About the Role
Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking a Sales Manager to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities. This full-time role focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and effective sales efforts.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, events, and trade shows to drive future bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community to expand the customer base.
- Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely turnover of business to Event Management for seamless service delivery.
- Participate in sales calls with the sales team to secure new business.
- Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics.
- Identify the location’s primary target customers and their service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.
- Support the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through excellent service experiences.
- Service customers effectively to grow account share.
- Adhere to and support the company’s customer service standards and daily service basics.
- Set a positive example for guest relations and interact with guests to gather feedback.
Sales Strategy and Market Acumen
This role involves identifying new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals. The Sales Manager must understand the competitive landscape and market trends to effectively position offerings. The objective is to close the most advantageous opportunities for the location, considering current market conditions and specific needs. Building strong customer relationships involves understanding their business concerns to provide optimal solutions.
Customer Service Excellence
A core aspect of this position is delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with the company’s strategy. This includes driving customer loyalty by ensuring outstanding service throughout every interaction. The Sales Manager is responsible for servicing customers to expand account share and consistently upholding the company’s service standards and daily service basics. Setting a positive example for guest relations and actively seeking guest feedback are integral to this function.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant sales experience. A proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships is essential. Experience in the hospitality industry is beneficial. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
