About the Role

TAWANTECH is seeking an experienced Mobile Banking - T24 Software Tester to join its banking technology team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in software testing, specifically within the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Mobile Banking applications integrated with the Temenos T24 Core Banking System.

Role Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases for Mobile Banking applications.
  • Performing end-to-end testing of Mobile Banking transactions integrated with Temenos T24 Core Banking.
  • Validating Retail Banking functionalities such as Account Management, Fund Transfers, Bill Payments, Beneficiary Management, Card Services, and Mobile Authentication.
  • Executing various testing types including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, UAT, and API Testing.
  • Verifying the integration between Mobile Banking channels and T24 Core Banking modules.
  • Analyzing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), and User Stories.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using defect management tools.
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to resolve issues.
  • Performing API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Validating security, authentication, and authorization scenarios.
  • Supporting production releases and post-deployment verification.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint testing activities.
  • Preparing test reports, test evidence, and quality documentation.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of software testing experience within the banking industry.
  • Hands-on experience with the Temenos T24 Core Banking System.
  • Strong experience in testing Mobile Banking applications.
  • A solid understanding of Banking Operations and Retail Banking products.
  • Experience with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
  • Experience in API Testing using Postman or SoapUI.
  • Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Additional skills and experience that would be advantageous include:

  • Experience with Internet Banking and Digital Banking channels.
  • Knowledge of Automation Testing tools like Selenium or Appium.
  • Understanding of Core Banking integrations and middleware.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in specific banking areas such as Digital Banking, Retail Banking, Core Banking Integration, Payment Systems, Cards, Customer Onboarding, and Account Services.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a banking technology team, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile banking solutions.
