About the Role

RIME Platform is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves ensuring the stability, speed, and reliability of our systems that process thousands of video streams and real-time sensor data to provide critical operational insights. The role operates at the intersection of software engineering and DevOps, focusing on efficient system operation, minimal downtime, and rapid scalability.

Core Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to manage the software infrastructure of RIME's servers, ensuring they can handle high-throughput processing of real-time data and video streams from customer cameras. A key objective is to maintain a service uptime of at least *** This involves building and developing continuous deployment pipelines to automate updates, ensuring rapid and error-free delivery. Proactive monitoring systems will be utilized to detect and address network issues, camera stream disconnections, or performance bottlenecks before they impact customers. The role also includes leading emergency incident response operations, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence, and optimizing operational costs and load balancing, particularly concerning server consumption and processing resources. Security best practices will be applied to protect customer data and ensure infrastructure compliance with local data governance policies.

Technical Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Cloud & Containerization: Mastery of container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), with deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong experience with tools like Terraform or Ansible for efficient infrastructure management.
• Programming & Automation: Solid coding skills for writing efficient automation scripts in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Real-time Data Processing: A solid understanding of network protocols and experience handling video streaming workflows (*, RTSP, WebRTC) and IoT data streams.
• Monitoring Tools: Advanced experience with modern monitoring, alerting, and log analysis stacks, including tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Security Knowledge: A solid grasp of cloud security protocols, data encryption, and access management (IAM).
