Murex Production Support (Market Risk +EOD)

About the Role

Luxoft is seeking a Murex Production Support Consultant with expertise in Market Risk and End-of-Day (EOD) activities. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves providing technical production support for a large bank, focusing on risk and EOD environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve daily production issues related to Market Risk calculations, including Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, and P&L attribution frameworks.
• Manage Market Risk related vendor deliveries, support, and closure processes.
• Support Murex Risk Architecture (MRA) and Murex Risk Engine (MRE) to ensure accurate generation of VaR, stress testing, and sensitivities (Delta, Gamma, Vega).
• Provide front-line support, triage production issues, perform root cause analysis, and remediate risk calculation or workflow failures.
• Offer Level 2 Support for all EOD issues and ensure repeated issues are addressed through problem management.
• Perform EOD processes, create and test job runs and flows, and troubleshoot failures during EOD, including user/trader issues, system failures, and infrastructure issues.
• Resolve EOD issues such as DataMart feeder failures, market data failures, slow or crashing user sessions, and accounting EOD failures, escalating to infrastructure teams as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for reported bugs, track fixes, deploy re-tests, and ensure quality of technical deployments. Liaise for diagnostics and troubleshooting of EOD issues.
• Perform sanity checks within the Murex UI, covering workflows and real-time data.
• Execute ad hoc operational requests, including generating on-demand reports, file transfers, and housekeeping activities.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in Murex production support, specifically with a focus on market risk and EOD activities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Datamart Dynamic tables/Feeders/batch Configuration.
• Familiarity with scanner templates and processing script definition.
