Network Engineer

About the Role

Accelerec is seeking a Network Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, permanent position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The Network Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of robust network systems within a technologically advanced environment. This position is central to ensuring operational efficiency and supporting the company's technological advancements through expert network management and security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy scalable and secure network architectures, applying best practices in routing, switching, and firewall management.
• Implement and maintain advanced routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF to ensure optimal network performance and connectivity.
• Manage and secure network devices, including the configuration of VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues through packet analysis, and proactively troubleshoot to ensure high availability and minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity.
• Explore and integrate cloud networking solutions within AWS and Azure environments to enhance hybrid cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless network integration with other systems.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated expertise in network design, configuration, and deployment.
• Proficiency with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Experience managing network security devices including VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions, specifically within AWS and Azure.
