About the Opportunity

Gulf Payments Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineering Senior Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This contract position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in network engineering, focusing on critical payment infrastructure.

Role Purpose and Context

The Network Engineering Senior Specialist will play a central role in deploying and managing secure network infrastructure for money transactions between GPC, Central Banks, and Commercial Banks across the Gulf region. This position involves providing technical leadership in network and security projects, ensuring robust and timely delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage the network infrastructure connecting GPC with Central Banks across the Gulf region for money transactions with Commercial Banks.
• Act as a technical mentor and team lead to develop cybersecurity expertise for securing the network with Central Banks and all branches.
• Assume a leadership role in assigned network and security projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals, and delivering projects as designed and on time.
• Design, install, and troubleshoot network equipment and software on Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
• Configure IPsec VPNs, including Site-to-Site VPN and DMVPN.
• Apply advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Implement IGP Routing with various designs such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Conduct due diligence on existing client solutions, analyzing physical topology, logical interconnectivity, service dependency, application flows, and security constraints.
• Create designs and support documentation for delivered infrastructure.
• Raise change records and execute activities while adhering to client processes and procedures.
• Manage a designated set of network security tools and their functionality, including web application firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and web proxies.
• Oversee the functionality of network security systems to ensure adherence to security policies, including internet browsing restrictions and software downloads.
• Maintain and monitor security systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information System or Computer Science.
• 4-7 years of professional experience in network engineering.
• Professional certifications are preferred.
